The People’s Hospital of Jiangsu Province is a Grade-III Level-A hospital of greatest comprehensive strength in Jiangsu. In 2013, it passed hospital review by the health department of the province with highest score. It ranks number 26 among the List of Top China’s Hospital released by the Research Institute of Fudan University, and ranks number 11 for its scientific research. As for the ranking list of best rehabilitation discipline, its Rehabilitation Center has successively been top one nationwide.

Based on internationally commonly-used institutional reform plan, and by combining specific conditions of the hospital, OKEWAY ShunDao has assisted the People’s Hospital of Jiangsu Province in building new rehabilitation ward. From infrastructure reconstruction to overall optimization of rehabilitation flow, it has implemented hardware reform in line with CARF concepts for rehabilitation service, and comprehensively prepared for CARF accreditation.

On the basis of the ward design scheme and drawing, issue reconstruction design proposal and assist in accessible infrastructure construction including:

• Construct standardized accessible washroom;

• Set up ST room, perfect traditional PT room layout;

• Set up small kitchen integrating handy service and functional training;

• Standardize meeting room layout for group meeting/family meeting;

• Standardize ward space.

Requirements for construction have been specified from the design stage based on CARF concepts.

Phase Two:

Comprehensive assistance from OKEWAY ShunDao for CARF accreditation preparation and investigation.
