Evaluation contents

Important contents for evaluation; follow-up rehabilitation after discharge is also a part of rehabilitation outcome evaluation; establishment of three-level rehabilitation service network, link between community and hospital rehabilitation information system, and how to conveniently (like by phone/computer/network system) make outcome evaluation for patients beyond hospitals are problems to be solved for rehabilitation outcome evaluation.

System

As it involves all departments and levels of hospital, the outcome concept should be expanded to operation of the entire organization, and system construction should be completed through modes similar to KPI. Successful implementation of systems requires comprehensive training, adherence to concepts, supervision for action and determination from the leadership.

Procedure

Without standardized procedures, a perfect system will not work and outcome management will not be realized.
Standardized procedures require the following basic conditions:
1.Targeted research before system establishment to provide reliable basis.
2.System establishment requires a mechanism for constant perfection.
3.System should be universally recognized and a long-term education plan should be in place.
4.During outcome management implementation, a data system should be in place for timely record, analysis and review.
5.Training and assessment for the employees guarantee their post abilities.
