The Rehabilitation Branch of Shiyan Taihe Hospital is the only specialized rehabilitation hospital in Shiyan, Hubei, and the largest rehabilitation medical center of the province. It covers an area of 35,000m² and provides 480 sick beds. It has set up seven specialized rehabilitation sections which are neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, cardiovascular rehabilitation, chronic disease rehabilitation, and psychological rehabilitation and TCM rehabilitation.

Due to the unique geological location, Taihe Hospital Rehabilitation Branch serves patients from surrounding four provinces. The imbalance between increasing patient number and lack of rehabilitation management standard propelled the hospital to build management system of high efficiency. Considering the consistency with the hospital culture and mission, the hospital firmly chose CARF concepts for further development of the rehabilitation branch.
