The Association of Trial Lawyers of America adopted a resolution urging state workers' compensation agencies to require CARF accreditation for rehabilitation organizations serving workers with occupational disabilities.

 

December 2005

CARF accredited its first program in South America.

 

June 2008

CARF accredited its first program in Oceania.

 

November 2008

CARF accredited its first program in the Middle East.

 

June 2009

CARF accredited its first program on the Asian continent.

 

February 2010

CARF accredited its first programs on the African continent.

 

June 2014

CARF accredited its first program in China. Rehabilitation Medical Center of Shanghai General Hospital/Ledu Hospital became the first organization to achieve one-year CARF accreditation in China.

 

August 2015

Rehabilitation Medical Center of Jiangsu Province Hospital and Rehabilitation Medical Center of Shanghai General Hospital/Ledu Hospital became the first organizations to achieve three-year CARF accreditation in China.
